Ann 'Annie' Celia Marie Skraba

Ann Skraba, 75, Cook, died peacefully on April 17, 2026.

Ann was born in Embarrass Township on September 7, 1950, to Raymond and Ethel (Milbridge) Syrjanen.

Ann grew up and attended school in Embarrass through her graduation in 1968. She enjoyed the outdoors including her passion for hunting and fishing with her late husband, Mike. Ann was employed at many places through the years but her co-workers at Zup's-Cook held a special place in her heart. After leaving Zup's Ann always looked forward to returning to visit and chat with all of her friends.

Ann is survived by sister Caroline (Dennis) Johnson; uncle John (Laurie) Milbridge; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents; husband Michael John Skraba; and brother Mathew Syrjanen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mlaker Funeral Home 27 1st St SE on Friday, May 15, 2026, with visitation at 11:00am, service at 12:00pm, and a gathering afterwards at The Old Muni 17 S River St. in Cook.
