It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ann Louise (Baker) Pucelj, age 70, of Chisholm, MN, on April 3, 2025.

Born June 3, 1954 to Arthur Glen and Ruby (Nystrom) Baker, Ann grew up in Bear River, MN. She was a graduate of Cook High School. In 1976, Ann married Larry Pucelj and started a family in Balkan Township. Ann was the mom who would pile all the kids in the station wagon and go to the beach or movies on a whim. While raising her family, Ann took on multiple supportive roles. She spent many hours lending her creative talents crafting beautiful banners and parade costumes for Grace Lutheran Church in Chisholm, while also acting as Sunday School Superintendent for multiple years. She took pride in her job as a teacher's assistant for Early Childhood Family Education and Head Start during the 90's. She then went on to work at Heritage Manor in Chisholm as a Nursing and Activities Assistant. She was fondly remembered by many staff while she was a resident in her last months.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Glen and Ruby Baker, siblings David Baker and Pam Wood, and ex-husband Larry Pucelj.

She is survived by her sisters: Linda (OJ) Volkman, Sandy Baker and Lauren Baker; brothers: Mike (Claudia) Baker, Pat (Min) Baker and Steve (Mary) Baker; children: Katie (Jason) Lorenzen, Robert Pucelj and Julie (Kevin) Leecy; beloved grandchildren: Daphne, Cale, Brennan, Alexis (Taylor), Ciara, Marissa, Cali, Kevin and Tiana and great-grandchild RayLeigh.

A visitation will be held at Mlaker Funeral Home in Cook, MN on April 12, 2025 at 1pm with service at 2 pm and luncheon to follow.
