Annacitta "Elaine" Juntunen (Raati) 70, of Angora, MN passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Eveleth Fitzgerald Nursing Home.

Elaine was born to Raymond and Louise (Gordon) Raati on March 15, 1947. Growing up in Angora, she attended Alango and Cook School. After High School, she moved to Minneapolis and worked for a short time. She was united in marriage to Arnold Juntunen in July of 1972; they were blessed with one son. Elaine was a homemaker and after her husband passed away, Elaine moved back to the Iron Range. Elaine enjoyed crafts of all kinds, word search, bingo, going to the casino, and going out to eat and for coffee. For the last 1 ½ years, she resided at the Fitzgerald Nursing Home, Eveleth, MN.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Arnold; and a brother Gordon Raati.

She is survived by her son Arnold Juntunen of Aurora; granddaughter, Clarissa; brother, Leonard (Donna) Raati of Angora; sisters: Ava (Keith) Denardo of Angora, and Lorrie (Mike) Heinonen of Sturgeon; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Mlaker Funeral Home, Cook, MN. Rev. Jeff Schirle will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will occur at a later date at the Alango Cemetery.
