Beverly Ann, Fosso, 88, of Bear River, MN passed away on Saturday morning, November 18, 2017.  Beverly was born in Fertile, MN to Ben and Clara (Simonson) Anderson, on October 31, 1929.  She graduated in 1948 from Chisholm High School.  She was united in marriage to Lorry Arthur Fosso on September 11, 1954 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Chisholm, MN.  Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She held several jobs starting at the shirt factory in Chisholm, drove the Head Start van for the Alango School, worked for the Cook Forestry Service through the CSEP Program, worked for the Lake Vermillion Resort Association at the Cook Visitors Center and was the Morcom Township Treasurer in Bear River for 41 years, retiring in August 2017.  She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Chisholm where she taught preschool Nursery classes for 36 years before joining the Bear River Lutheran Church.  Beverly loved everything that Northern MN offered:  fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, feeding and watching the birds, taking long drives to look at the fall colors, playing Bonko, volunteering at the Bear River Fair and at Ruby's Pantry in Cook. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her most cherished times were "get-togethers" and enjoying her family during the holidays. She loved people and will be dearly missed.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents:  Clara and Ben;  in-laws:  Martha and Gunder;  beloved husband: Lorry; sisters:  Dolly Rice and Jean Eisenreich;  sister-in-laws and brothers-in-laws:  Benny Eisenreich,  Joe Podvin, Janet Szweduik, Marge and Minnow Anderson, Glennes and Bud Anderson;  nephew Scott Anderson and niece Shelly Simmen.
Beverly is survived by her sons and daughter:  Mark Fosso, Bear River, MN, Diane Fosso, Hibbing, MN and Gary (Deborah) Fosso, Bear River, MN; sister: Punkie Podvin, Cloquet, MN; brother: Dennis Anderson, Chisholm, MN; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws:  Karl (Ann) Fosso, Magdalena, NM; Wesley (Debbie) Fosso, Bear River, MN; Duane Rice, Nashwauk, MN; Ken (Shirley) Szweduik, Hibbing, MN; Grandchildren: Jason Fosso, Chisholm, MN; Justin (Kalee) Fosso, Hibbing, MN; Eric Fosso, Hibbing, MN; Christopher Fosso, Bear River, MN; and Emily Fosso, Bear River, MN; Great-grandchildren:  Michael, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Daniel, Nicholas and Conner; all her special nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
