Billy Starr Wilke, 42, passed away on January 7 ^th , 2021 at the Virginia Hospital. He was born December 29 ^th , 1978 in Vermilion, South Dakota to Patricia Frazier and Noah Wilke. After their passing in 1986 Bill and siblings moved to Cook, MN with his aunt and uncle Ray and Lori Hawk. He attended Cook High School, DNR firefighting, and welding school. He worked for many years as a blackjack dealer at Fortune Bay Casino and also delivered furniture for Hanson's in Cook.

He will always be remembered for being "Wild Bill" and had a passion for wood working. Bill loved to hunt, fish, and other recreational activities. He especially loved to spend time with friends and family. He had an infectious laugh that will always be remembered and anyone who knew Bill had a "Bill story."

Bill is survived by his lifelong partner Nicole Holden and children Aubree, Bailee, Taya, and Noah; parents Raymond Hawk and Lori Hawk (Bob Howe); siblings Tricia Frazier-Colsden (Chris), Jennifer Kober (Shawn), Melissa Hawk (Mike McLain), David Hawk (Kate), and Amber Wilke (Brandon Mihm) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his niece Ashley Chinana, grandparents David and Doris Muecke along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. There will be a memorial service held at Mlaker Funeral Home in Cook, MN on January 15 ^th , 2021 at 2:00 PM Visitation will be held one-hour prior. Another memorial service with his relatives will be held at a later date in Santee, Nebraska. There will be a reception from 4-7 PM at the Cook Muni.
