Bradley A. King
Bradley Arthur King, 60, Orr, passed away at home on November 21, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born in Virginia on June 27, 1956 the son of William and Zoe (Refsdal) King.
Brad will be remembered for his easy laugh, artistic abilities, creativity, and love of music. Brad enjoyed working with students and took great pride in teaching them Taiko Drumming. Brad was awarded the 1994 Outstanding Minneapolis Teacher of the Year Award while he taught at Dowling Elementary.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Zoe King on October 31, 2013.
Brad is survived by his father William E. "Bill" King of Orr and brother, Timothy (Laurie) King and their children, Tyler and Jayme, of Lakeville, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Orr. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Pastor Joey "PJ" Bailey will be the officiant. Music will be provided by Cynthia Hannem. Interment will be in the Leiding Cemetery in Orr. A reception in Brad's honor will follow the service in the church social hall.
