Carol Jean Antus, 91, of Cook, MN was called to heaven on May 6th, 2019 at Cook Care Center, Cook, MN.

Carol was born to Richard and Winifred (Sundeen) Anderson on July 30th, 1927 in Cloquet, MN. Carol spent much of her childhood growing up in Silverdale, MN with her grandmother Matilda Sundeen. She graduated from Cloquet High School where she met Gerard S. Antus, the love of her life. Carol and Gerard were married on November 27th, 1946.

Carol was a homemaker who loved spending time with her many grandchildren, especially reading the "Heidi" book to them. In addition to her grandchildren she had many pets, and loved gardening and picking berries.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gerard.

Carol is survived by her three children Greg (Arline) Antus; Carl Antus; Geraldine (Jon) Pylka; granchildren: Kurt (Jenny) Stromlund, Sarah (Henry) Trivino, Rachel (Dan) Kern, Chester Antus , Josh (Candi) Antus, Carly (Chris) Antus Wilk, Bridget Negrete, Cuyler Antus and Stephanie Pylka; great grandchildren: Nicholas, Gabe, Kai, Danika, Ilee, Ava and Patrick; sister Sharon (Ted) Melgeorge; and many special cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 9 ^th , 2019 at 11:00AM at Mlaker Funeral Home, Cook, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
