Cecile Marie Strong, 63, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Cecile was born in Cook, MN to Louis Strong and Alice (Brown) Strong. She grew up in Nett Lake with her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Later in life, Cecile moved to Duluth, back to Nett Lake, Virginia, and most recently Chisholm, MN. She loved her two kids very much, Kristen & Kevin Strong and would do anything for them. Her hobbies were collecting interesting items, she liked rummage sales, puzzles, listening to music, keeping a tidy house and doing what she could for family. She grew up and believed in the catholic religion, went to church, and prayed often for those she loved. She always asked about her nephews and nieces.

Cecile is survived by her daughter Kristen (Squidg Morrison) Strong and son Kevin J Strong; sister Carol (Leonard Konecny) Strong; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Louis Strong & Alice (Brown) Strong/Whiteman; brothers: Terrence Strong, Roger Strong, Lewis Strong Jr, and Norman Strong; sister, Cynthia Strong; nieces: Rojean Strong and Terry Strong; and nephew Eric Strong.

Services: Funeral and Church services will be held at the RTG building in Nett Lake, MN. The Wake will begin on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 5:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held the next day on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:00am.

Cecile will be buried at the newer cemetery in Nett Lake by her mom, auntie Celia Brown, brother's Norman Strong and Lewis Strong Jr.

The casket bearers will be Squidg Morrison and her nephews- Kent Lund, George Strong, Corey Strong, Ulysses Strong, and Tom Nicolas. The Honorary casket bearers will be her other nephews, nieces, and her only surviving sister Carol Strong. Jared Bangs will serve as officiant.
