Curtis Lee Sheehy, 54, of Gheen, MN, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Curtis was born on May 1, 1963.

Curtis grew in Greany, Mn and went to school in Orr, graduating from Orr High School in 1982. He learned to drive truck from his father Frank and used those skills to gain employment for Shaefer Construction, Ulland Brothers, St. Louis County, and the Bois Forte roads garage. He also hauled pulpwood for various local loggers.

Curtis was an avid fisherman and hunter. He spent many days hunting deer, moose, ducks and geese. He enjoyed sporting clays, was a firearms enthusiast and a member of numerous hunting and fishing associations. He also enjoyed making wine and moonshine with his "old timer" buddies.

Above all, Curtis had a very strong faith in God and was extremely loyal to his family. He was a very special grandfather who showed his grandchildren the love of the outdoors by taking them fishing and hunting with him.

Curtis is preceded in death by his mother-Geraldine Polasky (Sheehy).

He is survived by his father-Frank Polasky, Greany, MN; his brother-Jim (Becky) Polasky, and their children: Vicki, Steph, Zach, and Montana, Britt, MN; long time life partner-Toni Saarikoski, Gheen, MN; his daughters-Kirby (Murry) Walker and Jeanelle Glowski; grandchildren-Niamoni Kingbird, Nahvaya Kingbird, Marriah Kingbird, Celice King, Bonzelle Walker; close aunties-Adeline Wooster, Darla Flett, Carla Mackinen; special sister-in-law-Trudy Saarikowski; and his family dogs-Gussie, Copper, Muffin, and Yupper.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:00PM at Mlaker Funeral Home, Cook, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
