Obituary

Damyan Cecil Napper, 19, of International Falls, MN passed away on October 20, 2018.

Damyan was born to Joseph Lee Napper and Misty Dawn Lampi on June 8, 1999 in Fort Frances, Ontario. Damyan attended Falls High School and Roseau High School. While he was in school, he worked at Wagner Construction as a shop hand and laborer.

Damyan had a love for anything with wheels or a motor. He was born with a love for speed and adventure. He was a little dare devil, and at three years of age, he was riding his little motor bike and trying to stand on the seat to do tricks. Damyan would ride anything with wheels. He drove ATV's, snowmobiles and lawnmowers. He even tried 4X4ing with his grandfather's Little Rascal motorized wheelchair (which he got stuck in the woods on many occasions). Damyan loved to tinker on motors and take anything apart. One of his favorite pastimes was following his grandfather Blake around the yard and working with him on the heavy equipment. Another of his passions was riding with his dad Joe in the Semi. He and Joe spent many long days on the road together enjoying each other's company. Damyan and Joe also loved to rebuild and race snowmobiles together. Damyan enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He would hunt from the deer stand that he and his dad built behind the house. He also enjoyed gaming with his Uncle Kevin.

Damyan was known for his outgoing personality, his smile for everyone he met, and his huge bear hugs! He will be dearly missed by his family and friends!

Damyan was preceded in death by his grandfather Blake Napper; great-grandfather Leroy LaValla; great-aunt Karla Ostby; and great-uncle Erik Lund.

Damyan is survived by his father Joe (Marilyn) Napper; his mother Misty (Michael) Raymond; his brother Malachi Lampi; his sisters: Haleigh Raymond, Seiara Hoopingarner-Hale and Angelica Hoopingarner-Hale; his grandparents: Gladys Napper, Sharon Belanger, Kelly Lampi, James LaValla, Kathy Napper, and Troy Frahm; great-grandmother Joanne LaValla; uncles: Kevin Frahm, DeWayne (Susan) Napper and Don (Deon) Napper; aunts: Shawn Belanger, Jewel Talia, and Rainy Frahm; great-uncles: McKinnon Ostby and Kevin Lange; great-aunt Diane Grooms and special cousin Logan Allan; and numerous other uncles and aunts; extended family Skip Ohlquist, Ryan Loney, Chad Erickson & Family, and Conrad Bourman & family; special friends: Justine Shaw, Tia, Sarah Maruk, James Morin, Joey Griffith, Austin Monsrud, John, Jade and Jace Baron, Brock Nicklson, Brady Strand, Chase Williamson, and Matt Christenson.
