Denise Meryl Heem Brunner

November 11, 1958 – December 19, 2022

Denise was born November 11, 1958 in Livingston, Montana. She graduated high school at North Community High School in June of 1978. On February 27, 2015, Gary and Denise were united in marriage in Virginia, MN.

Denise bravely dealt with cardiomyopathy for 25 years. December 19, 2022, this battle ended at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Denise was devoted to Gary and to her dogs, who were her family to her. She loved going on cruises, cheering for the Vikings and the Twins, reading, camping, watching tv and bingo.

She was a philanthropist; she earned a degree in accounting and had a deep faith.

Preceding Denise in death were her parents: Richard and Andrea Heem; and her husband Gary Bruner.

Denise is survived by four siblings; two step-sons; and special friends.

Per Denise's wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private burial will be held in the spring.
