Dolores Mary Sobyra passed away in Cook, MN on June 22nd, 2025 due to natural causes.

Dolores was born August 20th 1936 to William & Stella Sobyra in Chicago, Illinois.

After graduating, Dolores worked as a Vice President in Accounting until she retired.

After retirement, she worked as the Secretary as well as a Teacher for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cook, MN for many years.

During retirement, she lived at her home on Lake Vermilion

Dolores had many hobbies included gardening, puzzles, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved fishing and being on the lake every summer.

She gifted many with her generosity.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents William Sr. & Stella Sobyra; and her brothers Stanley Sobyra, Ray Sobyra and William Jr. Sobyra.

Dolores is survived by her sister-in-law Karen Sobyra, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cook, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
