Dorothy Melinda "Dode" Kelm, 97, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020. Dorothy was born May 31, 1923 in Zemple, Minnesota to John Logan Cline and Maude Alice (Raines) Cline. She married Clifford R. Parson on the 15 ^th of January, 1941 in Superior, Wisconsin. They started their married life in Bemidji, Minnesota. They were blessed with 5 children.

Dorothy loved spending time in nature and enjoying all the wildlife. One of her favorite activities, enjoying a good bonfire. She also enjoyed puzzles and word search. Dorothy is lovingly remembered as a strong-willed woman with a great sense of humor, which she had right to the very end.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Parson; her special friend Vernie Blair; children: Dennis Parson and Linda Parson; siblings: Margaret "Clara", Paul, Helen, Viola, Edward, Elmer, June, Patrick and Ray.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Steve (Sharon) Parson, Randy Parson, and Sammie Parson; numerous grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a private family committal at a later date.
