Obituary

Dorothy E. Lidberg

Dorothy E. Lidberg, 83, Cook, formerly of Wyoming, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 20, 2016.

She was born Dorothy Elaine Davidsavor on September 29, 1932, at Wolf Creek, Wisconsin, the daughter of Earl and Myrtle Davidsavor. She grew up on the large family
farm with her 10 siblings. The family also operated a sawmill and Dorothy learned her strong work ethic early in life. She settled in Wyoming, MN, and was a dedicated employee for F&M Plastics in Shafer for many years, retiring in 1997. She married Donald Lidberg on September 23, 1988 in Wyoming, MN. She was a strong, hard working woman. Dorothy's passion was fishing and more fishing. Their grandchildren also went on many outings with them, and fondly recall that their pickup truck was packed with everything conceivable to make their fishing trip enjoyable and comfortable. She was fun, doting, and loving grandmother. Dorothy loved tending to her garden and feeding the wildlife, especially the birds and squirrels - she always had a container of peanuts ready for them. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 1 daughter, Vonnie Clifford; 1 son, Johnny Christianson; 1 granddaughter, Missy Christianson; 4 brothers, Earl Jr., Dale, Marvin and Melvin Davidsavor; 2 sisters, Rosemarie Liewellyn and Alice Davidsavor

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Donald; 1 son, William Christianson of North Branch, MN; 1 daughter, Judy Morkert of Lindstrom, MN; 3 granddaughters, Leah Belland, Christina "Bean" Siedow and Theresa Gogins; 3 great grandsons, Isaac, Levi and Barrett; 2 brothers, Mitchell Davidsavor of Bouse, AZ and Richard (Louise) Davidsavor of St. Croix Falls, WI; 2 sisters, Eleanor Duresky of Winona, MN and Florence Przybylski of Ellisor Bay, WI; her very dear longtime friend, Faye Syrjala of Cushing, WI; along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
