Dorothy Ann Strong, 86, of Nett Lake, MN passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Dororthy was Born in Nett Lake, MN on November 7, 1938, to Annie Goodsky and Robert Strong. She attended and graduated from Orr High School.

Dorothy enjoyed making rugs and dreamcatchers. She was a Jingle Dress Dancer. She loved most any type of music from country music to ZZ top and Madonna.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Annie and Robert; siblings: Russell Strong, Nora (Strong) Berlein, Izola (Strong) Mathison, Ruth (Strong) Carlsou-Vnger, Hazel (Strong) Staudohar, Robert Strong Jr., Wesley Strong, Betty (Strong) Amitrano, Thelma (Strong) Morrison, and Maureen (Strong) Daly.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Anna Geshick, Raymond Allen Geshick, Wanda Lee Geshick-Mondragon, and Jeffrey L. Geshick; grandchildren: Martin Mayotte, Danielle Mayotte, Alvin Mayotte, Buddy Mayotte, Tamica Columbus, Sabrina Columbus, Milles Lee Columbus; and special friends Dennis Spotts and David Porter.

A wake will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 starting at 5pm at the Bois Forte Government and Services Center.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held the next day, Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 11:00am. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
