Elaine Marilee Villebrun, Orr, MN passed away on Sunday June 29, 2025, at St. Mary's in Duluth, surrounded by family.  She was born in Cook, MN on December 19, 1949, to William Smith and Dorothy (Curry) Smith. During her life, Elaine was employed at the Thunderbird/Wren house in Duluth, Bois Forte ENP, and Fortune Bay Resort.

Elaine loved to play Bingo and loved to spend time dancing at Powwows with family, friends and especially grandchildren. She loved the holidays where family would all come together for turkey dinners; every one of her grandchildren loved her turkey dinners.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents William Smith and Dorothy Wilson; brothers: Gary "Gore" Smith and Daryl Lee Smith; sisters: Lucille Smith, Veronica Smith and Clarice Curry (Geshick); and grandson Devin Mitchell Villebrun.

Elaine is survived by her Husband Frank Villebrun Sr.; children: Frank Villebrun Jr., Donald Villebrun Sr. (Tina), Lynette Villebrun (Zac Wipf), Leigh Ann Villebrun (Adam Towle); brothers: William Smith Sr. (Irene) and Ray Wilson Jr.; 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

The Traditional Wake will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Bois Forte Government and Services Center, starting at 5:00pm. The Traditional Service will be held the next day, Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 10:00am, also at the center.
