Eugene Whiteman Jr, passed away peacefully at Solvay Hospice Center in Duluth, MN on Monday, March 28, 2022 after a recent diagnosis of cancer.

Born July 22, 1957, Eugene Jr was raised in Nett Lake, MN by his parents, Eugene Sr and Angeline (Wein) Whiteman.  He later moved to the Duluth area where he resided until his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grandmother Maggie, sisters- Edna, Marilyn, Margaret (Tine), Mary, Debbie, and Linda; a brother- Roger (Sid) and a son Sheldon Misquadace.

Eugene Jr will be remembered as an incredibly artistic and creative individual who was well liked by his friends at the New San Marco House in Duluth where he most recently settled and seemed to finally have found his place.

He is survived by sons Geno and Garrett Whiteman; grandchildren; brothers Jerome, William (Bill) (Julie) and Steven;  numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Ruth and his many friends in the Duluth area.

A Traditional Wake will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 starting at 7:00PM at the Bois Forte Government and Services Center. The Traditional Service will be held the next day on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:00AM, also at the Center.
