Evelyn Larson passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Cook Hospital. Evelyn was born on September 19, 1925. She spent her early years in Sandwich, Illinois where she attended school. She married Joe Larson in 1944 and they celebrated 55 years together. During their married life, she worked as a waitress and in the business office of OK Turkeys in Waterman, Illinois. When it was time for retirement, they settled in Apache Junction and Queen Creek, AZ. She had many friends and was very active in social events in their community. Preceding Evelyn's death were her parents: Clarence and Opal Casner; sister Thelma; husband Joe; daughter Cynthia; and three special nieces: Collette, Michelle, and Denise. Evelyn is survived by her sister Mary George; daughters: Bonnie Grosshauser and husband Terry; Jodie Banks and husband Jeff; only grandchild Joseph; and many great nieces and great-great nieces/nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held in Arizona at a future date.
