Frank Gerald
Meyer
Apr 18, 1972 — Oct 8, 2019
Frank Gerald Meyer, 47, of Makinen, MN passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
Frank was born to George and Kathleen (Reber) Meyer on April 18, 1972 in St. Cloud, MN. He lived in Angora, MN most of his life. He attended school in Cook, MN, graduating Cook High School in 1990. He furthered his education by attending Mesabi Community College. Immediately following college, Frank became employed with Willow Manufacturing in Mt. Iron, painting water towers and other industrial structures. After a time, Frank became an independent contractor and specialized in industrial painting; working for various mines in Northern MN. He also started his own business; "Fine Line Auto Body", where he did auto body work and painting.
Frank had a very generous heart; he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need regardless of their story or background. No matter the circumstance, Frank was right there to help; even if it meant getting on his back in the snow to fix a friend's vehicle. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very creative and participated in the Ely Winter Festival snow sculpture event for several years.
Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents; nephew, Joshua Meyer; niece, Madeline Meyer; and many other dear family members.
Frank is survived by his daughter Arianna Walker; his parents, George and Kathleen; his brothers: Jeffrey (Marleen) Meyer of Hudson, WI; Gary Meyer of Deerwood, MN; Craig Meyer of Minot, ND; and Daniel Meyer (Teresa Rautiola) of Cook, MN; nieces: Megan, Jessica, Machaela, and Daenerys; and numerous aunts and uncles.
