Gerald "Jerry" A. Shuster, 75, of Gheen, graduated to Glory on February 17, 2026, after a courageous second battle with cancer. Jerry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

He was born to Tom and Helen (Udovich) Shuster on July 6, 1950, in Cook. He was a 1968 graduate of Orr School. Jerry was known for his work ethic and reliability in his logging business, political endeavors, and church leadership.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim, all aunts and uncles, and several cousins.

Jerry is survived by his wife AmyJo (Cable) Shuster, daughters Jennifer (Jakob) Dahlin of Ely and Elizabeth Shuster of Cook, brothers Tom (Anne) of Wadsworth, OH, and Albert (Lori) of Greaney, sister Jeanne Christianson of Moorhead, sister-in-law Judie Shuster of Greaney, along with nieces, nephews, and many beloved cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20th, 2026, at Lakeview Baptist Church in Orr, MN. Visitation/fellowship will start at 10:00 am. At 11:00 am will start remembrance stories from family and friends, to be recorded for his girls. For those unable to attend, a written memory can be mailed to Lakeview Baptist, 4594 Lake St, Orr MN 55771.

A reception will follow at the Community Hall (former Orr American Legion) in Orr. Private interment by family at St Bridgets in Greaney.
