Gregory A. Tonn

Gregory "Greg" A. Tonn Sr., 65, Orr, formerly of St. Paul, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. He died at home, surrounded by family.

He was born on May 16, 1950, in St. Paul, MN, to Herman and Mildred (Benjamin) Tonn. Greg grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1968. He was a 30 year Ford Motor Co. employee. Greg has left his love of hunting, fishing, and Harley motorcycles as his legacy to his children and grandchildren.

He was often referred to as the best fisherman anyone had ever met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wayne, and infant daughter Marie.

Greg is survived by his wife LeAnn, 2 daughters Jaime and Kristina Tonn and 5 sons
Gregory Jr. (Amber) Tonn, Bernard (Kinsy) Prescott, Travin (Tanya) Prescott, Luke (Heather) Prescott and Elijah Prescott; 2 brothers Sigward (Kathy) Tonn and Mark Tonn; 1 sister Linda Card; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his faithful four legged companion Bud. His best friend Bud will carry on his legacy of the daily meet and greet in the city of Orr.

Saturday, May 7th, at 914 Schley Avenue, West St. Paul, 55118 at 3:00 p.m..
