Obituary

Hans was born in Berlin, Germany, where he lived with his family until he was 9 years old.  The family immigrated to Argentina, where they would live for the next 10 years.  He studied machining in Argentina.  The family then immigrated to the United States in 1960, where they made their way to Minnesota.  He would live in Minnesota for the next 54 years.  During that time, he worked for a few Minneapolis based Machine Shops as a Machinist / Tool & Die Maker, until in 1970 he joined with partners Bob Hughs and Gale Weishalla to form Pride Machine Inc.  The name says it all.  PRIDE.  We were all very proud of them and their accomplishments.

He married Kathy in September of 1962, and went on to have 3 children- Monica, Hans Jr and Tony.  They raised the kids in Crystal and Ramsey, before moving to Kabetogama in 1997.  In 2004 Hans and Kathy moved to Montana.

Hans enjoyed his Tool and Die work, hunting, fishing, golfing, boating and water skiing, snowmobiling, remote control airplanes, and being with his friends and family.

Hans passed away in Seeley Lake MT on February 15, 2021

He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Moni (Dave) Janckila; son, JR (Lora) Hauser, five grandchildren: Austin, Lea, Jack, Sarah and Emma, along with other family and very dear friends.

He is preceded in death by wife Kathy, son Tony, parents Alfred and Lydia Hauser.
