Harry "Butch" Dean Porter III, age 64, passed away on May 11, 2025, at Burnsville, MN. He was born on February 18, 1961, in Cook, MN to Harry Porter Jr. and Mary (Goggleye) Porter.

Through the years he lived in Duluth, and lived most of his adult life in Virginia, Minnesota. He enjoyed spending time listening to the music of Kiss, riding his pedal bike and fishing.

He is survived by his son Jamison of Cloquet, Minnesota; his mother Mary Porter of Nett Lake, MN; brother Gerald "Turk" (Jeneal) Goggleye of Nett Lake, MN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Porter Jr; brothers: Lance Porter, Brian J. Porter, Dion Porter, and Barry Porter. Grandparents: Madeline Goggleye and Jess Goggleye and Harry Porter and Jenny Porter; sister Becky Porter.

Wake will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, beginning at 5:00pm, with Traditional Services being held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00am at the Bois Forte Tribal Government Building.
