Hilda Hansen, 90, of Ray, MN passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Hilda was born to Olaf and Aase (Austjore) Haugo, Norwegian immigrants, on August 30, 1930 in Fort Frances Ontario . Her parents immigrated to Canada shortly before she was born. She was raised with her Norwegian heritage, speaking English and Norwegian.

Hilda attended Robert Moore School and Fort Frances High School. She married Robert Charles Hansen on December 10, 1954 in Ray, MN. They were blessed with two sons; Randy and Robert.

Hilda and Bob enjoyed traveling after Bob's retirement. They spent many winters in Florida and Arizona and also made several trips to Norway.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents: Olaf and Aase Haugo; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Myrtle and Charles Hansen; husband, Robert Charles Hansen; son, Robert Owen Hansen; brother, Eivend Haugo and his wife Connie; and niece Joanne Kivimaki.

Hilda is survived by her son, Randy Hansen; grandsons: Josh (Emily) Hansen and Jared Hansen; great-granddaughters: Gracie and Raya Hansen; niece, Janice Haugo; and nephew, Ted Haugo.
