Jahna Lynn Sandberg, 23, of Cook, MN passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Jahna was born in Virginia, MN to Sheldon and Taryn (Holter) Sandberg on November 4, 2000.  Jahna attended Northwoods School in Cook, graduating in 2020.  Jahna had a heart of gold and even with her disability she enjoyed being with family and friends, whether it was boating or riding in the side by side to spending time at the shack and the cabin.   Jahna was her mom's "assistant" in real estate and the two could be found together in the office or out at properties.

Many people created great memories with Jahna to cherish forever and she will be deeply missed.

Jahna is a hero as she was a donor and has changed lives of people who never knew her.

Jahna is survived by her mother Taryn (Donnie Luecken); brother and sister-in-law Jaret & Destinie and their children, Grayson and Leah; bonus sister Michaela Luecken; grandmother Gail (Mike Gwash) Brunner; grandfather Merlin Sandberg; great-grandfather Ken Brunner; aunts/uncles: Tammi Holter, Brad (DeeAnn) Sandberg, Stacey (Steven) Ratai; cousins:  Alli(Steven Stone) and Sutton & Hanna Sandberg, Regan & Kaden Ratai; many family members and friends and her pet, Ace.

Jahna is preceded in death by her father, Sheldon, grandfather James "Ding" Holter, grandmother Maxine Sandberg.

A Celebration of Jahna's Life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2-4 pm at the Cook Community Center.
