OBITUARY OF JEROME JOSEPH SCHAUER

Jerome "Jerry" Joseph Schauer, 61, of Orr passed away at his home on November 14, 2019, due to natural causes.

He was born on May 16, 1958, in St. Paul, MN, the son of James and Mary (McDonough) Schauer.

He was a member of the Northwoods Riders Motorcycle Club.  He was a dedicated Marine, and a Firefighter/Paramedic of St. Paul Fire Department for 20 years of service. He went to Harding High School in St. Paul, MN.

Jerry enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, hunting, fishing and watching his favorite football teams.  He loved a good political debate.  He especially loved spending time with his grandsons Brady and Hayden.

Daughter, Melissa Schauer and his parents James and Mary Schauer preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Cecile Schauer; two sons: Jeremy (Michelle) Schauer of Forrest Lake, MN, and Nathan Schauer of St. Paul Park, MN; two stepsons, Curtis Warren of Chisholm, MN, and Lee Warren of Palo, MN; and one stepdaughter Melanie Warren of Orr, MN;  Seven grandchildren: Trista Hopkins, Brady Schauer,  Hayden Schauer, Christian Schauer, John Warren, Landon Mankus, and Marlie Kinney. One great granddaughter: Addilynn Three brothers: Daniel (Mary) Schauer of North Branch, MN, Jim (Denise) Schauer of Orr, MN, and John (Laurie) Schauer of Cottage Gove, MN; and two sisters: Ginny Erling, of Madison, WI and Connie Garcia of St. Paul, MN, and with numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, 2 p.m. at the Orr American Legion 4543 Hwy 53, Orr, MN 55771.  Private Inurnment at a later date on a Pelican Lake Island.
