Judith Faye (Thornberg) Ronning, 78, of Cook, MN passed away on April 22, 2023 at her winter home in St. Marys, GA.

Judy was born on February 2, 1945 in Hibbing, MN to the late Harold and Bertha Thornberg.

Judy was an active member in her church community in GA and MN and fiercely loved the Lord.  Her family and friends rejoice that she is now fully restored and in the presence of Jesus and one day they will see her again.

She was an artist, carpenter, writer, baker, and avid gardener.  Judy had a lifelong love of learning and embraced life to the fullest.  She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Judy loved to help her family and everyone around her and enthusiastically shared her love of Jesus at every opportunity.

Judy is survived by her husband Jon, her daughters Janell (Dean) and Jonna, and her son Justin.  Siblings, Millie, Marylin, Sharon (John), Sheila (Loren), and brother Terry.  Additionally, she is survived by her two grandsons, three granddaughters, one great grandson, and a great granddaughter on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Harold David, and Dennis.

A visitation will be held in St. Marys, GA at the Allison Memorial Chapel on April 27 from 2pm to 4pm for her dear friends in Georgia.

A visitation will also be held on Saturday, May 6 for her beloved family and friends in Minnesota at Mlaker Funeral Home from 5:30-7:30.  Flowers may be sent to the Mlaker Funeral Home at 27 1st. SE, Cook, MN 55723
