Marie Ann Snowflake Fairbanks, 24, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born in Duluth, MN on November 11, 2000 to Feather Marie Thompson and Glenn Leroy Fairbanks.

Snowflake loved taking walks and loved being in the wilderness. She enjoyed playing cards and games and was a Green Bay Packers fan. She enjoyed listening to music, drawing, painting, and origami. She loved driving cars (and golf carts) and going for rides with her family and friends. Snowflake was a very loving and passionate person. She loved her nieces and nephews and cared about everyone. She was a giving person and would share whatever she had. She loved being silly and had the best laugh.

Snowflake is preceded in death by her father Glenn Leroy Fairbanks; and grandparents: Alberta Agnes Martin Fairbanks, Keith W. Lowmaster Sr., Leonard Thompson, Myra Thompson; great grandparents Ray Drift and Jessi Drift; Aunts and Uncles: Makoons Webster, Shawna Marie Fairbanks, Janet Thompson, Leonard Thompson, Lois Thompson, and Curtis Thompson.

Snowflake is survived by her Mother Feather Marie Kelder, and stepfather Darren Kelder; grandparents: Murial Thompson and Charles Goggleye Jr.; step grandmother Jody Bigboy Lowmaster; sister Nazharay Rose White; brothers: Keith Micheal Lowmaster Aubid and Sapatise Makooze Cloud Fairbanks; Aunts and Uncles: Franklin Lussier, Steven Lussier, Mitchell Lussier, Debbie Kay White, Ronald James Fairbanks, Ricardo Wade Benjamin Fairbanks, Johnny Fairbanks, Michelle Lussier, Allen Theodore Goggleye, Charles Dawanye Goggleye III, Ashley Ann Goggleye, Ray Thompson and Becky Thompson; and many other uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Traditional Wake will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 starting at 5pm at the Bois Forte Government and Services Center. The Traditional Service will be held the next day, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 10am, also at the center.
