Michael "Mike" Kent Gaume (73), of Crane Lake, Minnesota, passed away August 26, 2023, surrounded by his wife and family. Mike was born to Robert "Bob" and Marjorie Gaume on August 29, 1949, in Elkhart, Indiana. He was a self-made, hard-working businessman, working in the RV and Manufactured Housing industry his entire adult life. Some of his many accomplishments include being President and part owner of Four Seasons Housing and alongside with his close friend, Randy Rush, aiding the federal government and FEMA to build temporary housing for displaced Americans. In his free time, Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening with Bitsy, who usually out fished him. Mike is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife Bitsy (Diman) Gaume and his 4 children, Mandy(Jim Bergan), Missy (Scott Chambers), Kimmie (Joe KarbalaeAli) and Mike (Sarah) Gaume. 8 grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Bergan III, Traye KarbalaeAli, Conor Butler, Donovan KarbalaeAli, Isabella Greene-Noble, Alia KarbalaeAli, Lily Bergan and Jayce KarbalaeAli . Mike was predeceased by his parents and grandparents, Robert "Bob" Gaume, Marjorie Vegis, Elmer Johnson and Iva Mae Johnson. A Celebration of Life will be held in Bristol, Indiana and Crane Lake, Minnesota later this year. Arrangements will be posted at a later date.
