Patricia "Patsy" Jane (Mathison) Gunderson, 85, of Cook, MN, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Patsy was born in Bagley, MN to Wallace "Pat" and Vivian (Olson) Mathison.  She attended Orr School.  In addition to Minnesota, she lived in Montana and North Dakota.  She worked hard as a factory machine laborer and in road construction throughout her life until retirement, when she moved home to help with her mom.  She stepped in and helped, anywhere needed.

Patsy's pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved them beyond measure.  She was "Grandma Patsy" to everyone because she cared that much and you were family to her.  She loved all nature but most especially birds and horses. She enjoyed music, fishing and early in life, going to rodeos.  She loved dreamcatchers, eagles, visor hats, a good trip to the casino and visiting.  Her family will remember her sitting in her chair looking out the window at what wildlife she could see. She didn't mince words, had a lot of advice for family and friends and was always the shoulder and ear everybody needed.  She was a wonderful homemaker and the best cook ever.  She had a passion to help and a heart to follow through with what anybody needed.  If she knew you a minute or all her life, she would give it all to you – genuine, full of love and kindness!

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Glenn Setter and Allan Gunderson; her brother Dennis Mathison (Kathy Sarazine); daughter Kathy; son Robert in infancy; and grandson Cody.

She is survived by her children:  daughter Corrine (Russell) Mickolichek and sons Dennis, Ronnie (Theresa), Pat (Sue) and Calvin (Lori) Setter; grandchildren: Nathan, Nicole (Jeremy), Carmen (Dustin), Amber (Ben), Colton (Ashley), Courtney, Paige, Nicholas and Josh; brother Vern; sisters Mavis (Scotty) Appleby and Iva (Ron) Johanson; great grandchildren:  Bradley, Cayden, Cooper, Frankie, Isabelle, Jase, Kali, Maddie, Tate and Torie.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at noon at Mlaker Funeral Home in Cook, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior.  A luncheon will be held immediately following the service at the Cook Community Center. Online condolences to www.mlakerfuneralhome.com
