Patti Ann Kester, 73, of Cook, MN passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Patti was born to Bert and Flo (Fox) Lindsteadt on August 17, 1946 in Chicago, IL. She grew and attended Amundsen High School in Chicago. As a child, Patti would vacation in Cook with her grandparents Bert and Flo. When she met Gary Kester, she continued the tradition of coming North. They were united in marriage on August 4, 1979 at Polley's Resort in Cook, MN. Patti and Gary would spend a couple weeks each Summer at Polley's, with their children, and they loved it so much they decided to move to Cook permanently in 1998.  Sadly, Gary passed away on December 30, 2006.

Patti loved having plants all over her home. She loved her cats and cherished time with her granddaughter Kali. Patti was a loving and thoughtful person who always made sure that her family and friends were doing okay and that she was thinking of them. She always had a funny and quick sense of humor.

Patti was preceded in death by her husband Gary.

Patti is survived by her sons: Tyler Kester of Ingleside, IL and Corey Kester of Virginia, MN; brother Ronald Lindsteadt of Round Lake, IL; granddaughters: Kali Kester and Violet Kester; and a grandson Gabriel Kester.
