Ramona "Mona" Wallberg Peterson, 64, passed away on Thursday, October 13. 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Mona was born in Cook, MN to Frederick and Ann (Saice) Isham on August 28, 1958. Mona was a loving and caring Foster Parent, she also worked at Duluth Safe Haven. She was an inspiration to many people and to families, and she always left unforgettable memories with each one of us. She was selfless and enjoyed spending every chance helping anyone she could, she was loved by many communities. She will be missed and her memories will live on long with us. Thank you for joining us to remember the life of our loving mona.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jennifer Witherspoon; siblings: Dorothy Isham, Frederick Isham Jr., Gwendolyn Schultz, Mary Lou Boney, Romaine Isham, Felix Isham, Daniel Isham, Sara Isham, Wanda Armstrong, Linda Isham, Elva Isham Cadwell, Angela Isham, Phyliss Lookingback, Judy Isham, Lenore Isham; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mona is survived by her children: Antonio Isham, Jamie June, Matthew Isham, Honor Life Isham, and Daciea Isham; brothers Ira "Pete" (Doris) Isham, and Francis Isham.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Noon, at the Nett Lake Government and Services Center, Nett Lake, MN.
