Richard Daniel Steinbach, 44, of International Falls, and former resident of Cook, MN passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 11, 2019.

Richard was born to William and Cynthia (Lumbar) Steinbach on November 23, 1974 in International Falls, MN. Richard was a graduate of Cook High School.

Richard served proudly in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry and Marion Schuster of Greaney and grandfather Ralph Steinbach of International Falls; and his uncle Michael Schuster.

Richard is survived by his mother Cynthia Aune of Cook; his father William Steinbach of Florida; step-father George Aune, formerly of Cook; brother James Steinbach of Virginia; uncle Bruce (Chris) Schuster; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cook, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
