Robert Dale Congdon, 83 of Mountain Iron, and previous long-time resident of Crane Lake, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 4, 2019. Robert was born on June 4 ^th, 1935 to Edwin and Janette (Koelfgen) Congdon in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Robert had a passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He enjoyed joking around (April Fools jokes) and telling stories.

Robert is survived by his wife Shirley; his children William (Deena) Congdon and Michael Congdon; grandchildren: Katie, John, and Nicholas; great-grandson Kingston; and his sister Rennee Gorman.
