Roger M. Billington, 84 of Angora, MN, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Roger was born April 11, 1939 in New York Mills, MN; the youngest son of Merrill and Eleanor (Kent) Billington. The family settled in Idington. Roger Graduated from Alango High School in 1958. Roger was drafted/volunteered into the US Army on November 14, 1958. He married his childhood sweetheart Donna Edblom on April 15, 1959. Upon honorable discharge, Roger moved his wife and two young daughters back to the Idington area where they were blessed with two more children. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, card games and camping with the family (lots of good memories). He was a hard-working family man of many trades including railroad, forestry, and mine construction. He retired from Staver's Foundry after putting in 30 + years. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, yard work and bingo.

Roger is survived by his wife Donna; daughters Jeanine (Kelly) Rutchasky, Laura (Dan) Zika, and Kristen Majeski; beloved son William "Bill" (Jackie) Billington; grandchildren: Josh (Jill) Rutchasky, Jolene (Jamie) Gitzalff, Jenny (Matt) Rea, Aaron (Heather) Zika, Ryan (Chelsea) Zika, Joseph (Mattie) Majeski, Jonathan Majeski, Jacob (Taylor) Majeski, Oakley Lange; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Merrill and Eleanor Billington; his sisters: Darleen "JoAnn" Figliola and Marge Sopp; and sons-in-law: Wendell Rutchasky and Todd Majeski.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kristen (Billington) Majeski residence on Sunday, November 26, 2023, starting at noon. The burial with Military Honors will be held privately. Online condolences to www.mlakerfuneralhome.com
