Rosemary "Rosie" Zgaynor Hoffer went to garden with the Lord on July 6, 2025. She passed away at the Cook Hospital and Care Center.

Rosie was born in Hibbing April 4, 1933. She grew up in Greaney and moved to Orr when she married.

Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Neil "Skip" Hoffer; her parents, Mary and Louis Zgaynor; brother, Kenneth (Bernice) Zgaynor; and brother-in-law, Waldo Carlson.

She is survived by her siblings: Audrey Carlson, and William Zgaynor (Lynn); children: Kathryn "Kay" Christiansen, Patrick Hoffer, Marilee "Eba" Gulon, Michael Hoffer, William Hoffer (Donna), and Thomas Hoffer (Susan); grandchildren: Alyssa Christiansen, Mary Hoffer Franks (John), Kate Hoffer Rudesdill (Andrew), Madelyn Gulon, Victoria Gulon, Patrick Hoffer (Sierra), Greg Hoffer, and Rachel Hoffer; great-grandchildren: Charlie and Griffin Franks, and Charlotte Hoffer.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Orr. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Luncheon to follow.
