Russell G. Gabrielson, 68, of Orr, MN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Russell was born to George and Eleanor (Hanskala) Gabrielson on December 3, 1952 in Virginia, MN. Russell attended school in Orr, graduating Orr High School and then furthered his education at Mesabi Community College. After College, Russell went to work for Abramson Construction where he worked for 35 years until retiring at 55 years of age.

Russell loved to fish. He enjoyed gardening, reading and playing cribbage. He was an avid Twins and Vikings fan. He always enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents.

Russell is survived by his siblings: Gwen (Doug) DePew, Frederick (Kathleen) Gabrielson, Sandra (William) Everett; 5 nieces and nephews: Laura, Fred William, Sarah, Julie, and Brent; many great nieces and nephews, and cousins; and many friends.

The family would like to thank the Orr Ambulance Service and Dr. Elleby and staff at the Cook Community Hospital.
