Sharon 'Shari' Rose Luecken of East Bethel, MN passed away on Saturday June 26, 2021 at the age of 75.  Her daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons were by her side in her final days.

Sharon lived most her life in the Cook area.  She moved to the twin cities area in 1999.

Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother.  Her only dream in life was to be a mother.  She was a foster parent for a while and when it was clear she was unable to have children of her own, she adopted two children

Helping people and caring for them was her calling.  She became a Certified Nursing Assistant and bred and raised miniature Schnauzers.

She loved nature and being outside.  She lived on the river and then the lake.  She enjoyed tending to her garden, yard, and flowers.

She is preceded in death by her son David John Luecken, sister Karolyn Laughery, mother Aline Wightman, and father Elmer Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter Deanna (Sofiene) Belkadi, her grandsons Wassim and Malek Belkadi, nephew Christopher (Ann) Laughery, her beloved dog Nina Mae and cat Shadow.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 19, 2021 at 3 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cook MN with a social gathering following the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. To leave an online condolence visit www.mlakerfuneralhome.com
