Steven "Steve" Bradley Begg, 63, long-time resident of International Falls, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 in North Dakota, surrounded by his family.

Steve worked and retired from Boise Cascade. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Steve was a person that you could call anytime and he would come over and help, or find a way to help you with whatever it may be. He did have a way with words that would make you laugh or shake your head. Steve is going to be missed by so many people.

Steve was preceded in death by his father Harold (Dodo) Begg; and mother Dorothy Lucca; brothers: John Stenberg, Mike Stenberg; and sister, Carmen Kalar.

Steven is survived by his sons: Brock (Sara) Begg of Minot ND and Bradley Begg of International Falls; grandsons: Damian and Kolby; brothers: Danny Stenberg of International Falls, and Kim Begg International Falls; sisters: Holly Takemoto of Clearwater, Vicky Lucca of International Falls, Sue LaVigne of Grand Rapids, Peggy Johnson of International Falls, and Lori Nielsen of Baudette; special friend Mattie of International Falls; close friends Steve Skogstad and Pat Skogstad; and numerous nieces and nephews along with many friends. Steve will be dearly missed by all.

Please join us Thursday the 31st of August for a celebration of life at the Ranier Community Hall from 3:00-600 pm. Dad didn't want a formal service; we think this would be a great way to gather and pay tribute to the great guy that he was.
Looking forward to seeing all of you! Come hungry…we will have pulled pork with assorted salads and dessert dishes. Feel free to bring a story or laugh to share. We could all use a good laugh right now.
