Tod (Leon) Polley, age 74, of Lake Vermilion, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024. Born October 7, 1950, to Leon and Marie Polley, Tod lived his entire life at Polley's Resort, in the cherished family home.

A proud Minnesotan, Tod was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings and could always be found cheering them on. He loved sharing a Miller Lite with friends and listening to classic rock music. A master of friendly competition, Tod was notorious for his unbeatable skills at cards, pool, and foosball, always ready to challenge anyone who dared to play.

Tod's warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He was known for his mouth watering smoked turkey, spectacular fireworks displays, Polleyball, and, above all, his boundless kindness. His caring nature and wit made him a beloved figure among friends, family, and the community.

Tod is survived by his daughter, Sena (Terry) Ostrander; granddaughters Abigail (7) and Addison (5); nephews Marc Russell and Ross Polley; his loving nieces, Regan Russell & Christina Plaut; extended family Charlene, Carlotta, Josh, more "grandkids", and cousins. He is reunited in death with his parents, Leon and Marie, his brother Denis, and his sisters Penny and Janie.

Tod's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. May his spirit continue to inspire kindness and joy in the lives of those he leaves behind.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 5-8 pm at Mlaker Funeral Home, Cook, MN. A Celebration of LIfe will be held the next day on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 3:00 pm at The Woodlands Ballroom at Fortune Bay, Tower, MN. Lunch will follow the service. Visitation will be held again one hour prior to the service at Woodlands Ballroom.
