Obituary

Todd Joseph Majeski was 61 years old when he was able to rest from the trials of life he endured recently, on June 6, 2023. Todd was born October 23, 1961 in Virginia into a family of two siblings, soon to be four. Born to James W. Majeski and Verna M(Ruoho)Majeski. Siblings: Shari (Randy) Majeski, James Jr./Jimbo Majeski, Char Majeski, Deb (John) Rahn. Born as a curious and fast learner who could tear almost anything apart and examine it quickly to see how it works and mimic its design. A true better than MacGyver Minnesotian. Life in Buyck was filled with lots of exploring bikes and cars, which led to one of his first jobs as a mechanic at the Portage Inn Garage in Buyck, Minnesota. Exploring throughout the woods he became fond of the Norway Pines which he has planted throughout his yard. It took a few mere years of working in the carpentry trade that eventually led to the building of his pride and joy, the garage and then the house that he and his wife (Kristen) had dreamed of. After working as a carpenter, he began to work for Sokoloski Logging with a chainsaw, which he always kept his chain sharp enough to cut wood like butter! Then his primary career for many years was being an honest and excellent Well Driller. After years he became part owner for "KO Well Drilling." From then on, he would say, "All I did was buy myself a Job." Although our family knew he would always provide for us and he never missed a day of work. He had such a rare work ethic that even when he fractured a shin bone, he got up and went to work the next morning and pushed through. We didn't discover this until an X-ray was taken of his broken ankle years later. Todd leaves behind a wife Kristen (Billington) Majeski of almost 40 years of marriage. First Son, Joseph (Mattie) Majeski along with granddaughter Rowen and grandson Finley of New Hampshire, A Second son, Jonathan Majeski of Tennessee and A Third son, Jacob (Taylor) Majeski of Tennessee. His best buds Bill (Jakie) Billington and Wendell (Jeanine) Rutchasky and Timothy/Dudley (Lois) Reing and his very supportive in-laws: Dan (Laura) Zika along with parents-in-laws Roger (Donna) Billington. He has made strong connections with many, from babies that he would calmly care for, to showing his respect to elderly ones. I hope all the Numerous cousins, nephews and nieces and friends will remember him as a man who loved the best he could! A private family burial will be held on Saturday 17th, 2023, followed by a reception for family and friends at Kristen and Todd's home at 1 p.m. Online condolences to www.mlakerfunearlhome. com
