Rev. Victor C. Eliason

Rev. Victor "Vic" Carl Eliason, 79, of Brookfield, WI passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 after a 15 year battle with cancer.

Victor was born on May 14, 1936 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa the son of Oscar and Norma (Olson) Eliason. He grew up in Cook (East Little Fork) and graduated from the Cook School in 1954. He met his wife, Freda Mae Thomas in Pasadena, California, and they were united in marriage on June 30, 1956. After ordination in Des Moines, IA, he served in youth and family ministry in Milwaukee, WI for many years. Having a life-long interest in broadcasting, he pioneered development of a Christian radio and TV ministry in the Midwest.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar (1985) and Norma (1998)

Vic is survived by his wife Freda, children: Andrew Eliason, Ingrid (Tom) Schlueter and Lisa (Russell) Turner; numerous grandchildren; and 1 brother, Verner (Delores) Eliason.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Cook with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Randy Swenson will be the officiant. Music will be provided by Kathy Forsline, Rodney Edblom and Doreen Olson. Burial will follow in the Cook Community Cemetery. A reception in Vic's honor will follow in the church social hall. Arrangements are with the Mlaker Funeral Home in Cook.
