Lisa was a long-time resident of International Falls, but has felt right at home in Cook, MN. She loves the great Northern outdoors and all it has to offer. In fact, one of her favorite pastimes is fishing for sturgeon on Rainy River. She has three grown sons and three wonderful grandchildren. Lisa feels honored to serve the residents of Cook and surrounding areas in their time of need. Lisa believes that each branch on the family tree has a special and unique story to tell. Her compassion is encouraging families to tell the story of their loved one by personalizing the funeral service to reflect and celebrate a life lived.

Mlaker Monuments is still owned by Warren and Betty Mlaker. Warren will continue to serve the residents of Cook and surrounding communities, providing the utmost quality Memorial Stones. Warren continues as a licensed insurance agent and will continue to service existing and pre-need burial funds.

Ralph Norrgard
Funeral Director Assistant
Ralph retired in 2010 after 33 years of teaching Industrial Tech and Vocational Building Trades. He went to work for Kason Construction, Forest Lake, where he helped in the construction of 4 - 30 Unit Apartment Complexes. Ralph moved to the Cook Area in 2014, with wife Patti (Johnson) Norrgard, to assist in care of Patti's Folks. Ralph served honorably in the United States Army from 1972-1974. After assisting Warren and Betty Mlaker, Ralph will stay on to assist the new owner, Lisa Bowes.
